The LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S has been launched and it is a smart monitor that comes with the webOS 22 operating system. This makes LG the second company to offer a smart monitor that can not only be paired with a PC but can operate independently like a smart television.
It is equipped with a 32″ LCD 4K screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It can display 90% of colors in the DCI-P3 gamut. This monitor comes with an Ergo Stand that clamps onto a desk surface so it doesn't have a regular base. The neck of the monitor can be rotated up to 90 degrees for it to be used vertically.
Through the webOS operating system, various streaming applications such as YouTube and Netflix can be installed and there is also AirPlay 2 support for users of the Apple ecosystem. I/O options lose 2x HDMI, 1x USB-C with 65W power, 3x USB-A and LAN. It also has WiFi and bluetooth support to connect various accessories. In the United States it is sold for $500 (~RM2358) one.
