All VR and AR headsets on the market now have controls to allow the user to interact with the virtual world being played. But based on personal experience, sometimes the remote control does not provide the best experience and is limited to users with perfect limbs.
To solve this issue, Meta Reality Labs shows how electromyography (EMG) technology can be used. The EMG bracelet worn on this wrist was previously only shown in pictures last year. From the video above, the user's movements are initially detected by the EMG bracelet before artificial intelligence then allows the same control to be performed without the limbs being moved.
