Metaverse Is A Term That Will Never Be Used At Apple – Greg Joswiak

Apple is seen to be developing their own virtual reality device, which is expected to come with a metamesta that will be developed by them as well. This device is expected to be officially introduced by Apple around next year.

Recently, Craig Federighi and Greg Joswiak, two vice presidents of Apple were interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, asking them about virtual reality devices and also the "metaverse" that they will build.

As usual, Apple does not provide any comment on products that have not yet been launched, but Greg Joswiak, Vice President of Global Marketing said that Apple as a company will not use the term "metaverse" for their virtual world.

This is probably because the term "metaverse" was coined by Meta, the parent company of Facebook to promote their own virtual reality technology, which is now seen as eating itself due to the cost of entry that cannot be afforded by the public.

Even so, Apple's own virtual reality set is also expected to come with a price tag that can only be seen when it is introduced later. Details about Apple's own metacity are also not yet known, and it is not known when it will be shown.
