MyCC Asks Shopee to Respond to Service Quality Deterioration - Before the End of October


 Lately, complaints related to Shopee services have been increasing - including involving the platform, as well as logistics. One of the complaints we often receive related to Shopee is that the delivery of goods takes a long time, especially when the seller uses the Shopee Xpress service.


Realizing that the number of complaints is increasing, now MyCC stated that it has been in contact with Shopee Malaysia and discussed to better understand the Shopee platform, as well as the logistics industry.


MyCC emphasized that they welcome various innovations, but emphasized at the same time that the industry players should not lead to any negative impact on consumers or sellers.


Because of that, Shopee is now being asked to provide MyCC with reasons and full info on how Shopee will deal with user complaints, including the process to deal with it. MyCC has set Shopee to inform back before October 2022.


In addition to Shopee, MyCC stated that they will also continue to monitor various industry players in the same market. With the development of the digital economy arena, MyCC also hopes that all parties play a joint role in ensuring that users of a certain platform are awake.
