NASA Captures Pictures of the Sun "Smiling"

NASA often observes space, and conducts various studies related to it. Most recently, they managed to capture a picture of the sun, showing it as if it was "smiling".

Recorded using ultraviolet lighting, the dark regions of the sun are coronal holes.

For information, it is a dense and low-temperature region compared to other solar coronas around it. This coronal hollow area is also the main cause of the high speed currents of the solar wind.

As many are aware, the sun often emits the solar wind into space, and sometimes causes effects on Earth such as telecommunication and electrical disruptions.
