Netflix's initial efforts to offer a premium in their subscriptions have so far not yielded results with a low usage percentage. But they haven't stopped short of buying several video game studios this year. Next in Netflix's plans may be a video game streaming service.
This was revealed by Mike Verdu who is the vice president of Netflix's video game business. Netflix is seriously exploring offering video game streaming services at this time so that customers can access them anywhere. A new studio will open in Calfornia under the supervision of Chacko Sonny who is a former Overwatch producer at Blizzard.
If launched it would be a bold decision as various video game streaming platforms so far still do not have a high number of users. Even Google waved the white flag and ended Stadia due to lack of users just a few weeks ago.
