In the last two quarters, the future of Netflix looks a bit dark after they recorded a reduction in the number of subscribers from 221.64 million in Q1 to 220.67 million in Q2. In their latest financial report, Netflix reported they now had 223.09 million paying subscribers in Q2 2022.
This is good news for Netflix as their stock value has plummeted as subscriber numbers dwindle post-pandemic. Among their initiatives to reinvigorate customers are introducing a feature to add profiles in the Latin American market, introducing cheaper ad-supported plans and transferring old profiles to new accounts this week.
