New Mac Pro May Use M2 Extreme Chip – 48 Core CPU, 160 Core GPU And 384GB RAM

Apple is expected to launch a new Mac Pro with a full Apple Silicon chip. There are various speculations about the chip that will be used. Given that it's Apple's flagship desktop computer, it wouldn't make sense if it just used an Ultra chip like the one used in last year's MacBook and Mac Mini.

According to a MacWorld report, the Mac Pro may be equipped with a more powerful chip called the M2 Extreme. It may be equipped with a 48-core CPU, a 160-core GPU and up to 384GB of RAM.

Predictions are made based on last year's M1, M1 Pro and M1 Ultra chips which double the number of CPU and GPU cores and RAM compared to the most basic chips. All of this is still just speculation, but if it becomes a reality, the Mac Pro will be one of the most powerful desktop computers on the market.
