Nothing will launch their new audio accessory which is Ear (stick) on October 26. Ear (stick) is seen not as a replacement for Ear (1), but instead is a different variation for TWS whose earphones are not the in-ear type.
It has not yet been launched, but now there are reports about the design of Nothing Ear (2) as well. This design was revealed by 91Mobiles, who claimed that the Ear (2) might be launched in the near future. In terms of design, the charging pod does not show any changes. But on the earphones, there is a difference in the writing on the stem, which is from Nothing Ear (1) now only displays Ear (2).
The overall design of the Nothing Ear (2) is still transparent on the charging pod with a plastic block inside that hides the components. While the earphones are also transparent which shows the components on the stem.
Specifications are still unknown, but Ear (1) comes with 11.6mm graphene dynamic audio driver, tuned by Teenage Engineering, supports SBC and AAC codecs, comes with three HD microphones, also supports wireless noise cancellation, IPX4 protection, Qi wireless charging and Bluetooth 5.2. So the Ear (2) will probably offer roughly the same specs with improvements in audio quality.
The selling price will probably be more expensive, because the Ear (1) on October 26 will start selling at around RM700, which is almost RM200 more expensive than the previous price.
