Google has already launched Android 13 Go Edition, which is an operating system for devices with low specifications. This version of Android is built specifically for devices with at least 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It comes with the Material You feature for customizing the device according to the user's taste, security updates through the Play Store so users don't have to download large system-wide updates and more.
Since its introduction five years ago, devices with Android Go have been well received. Especially for developing countries and those who cannot afford more premium devices. Android Go can also help those who just want to use Android devices, because according to Google in the last twelve months there has been an addition of 180 million active users online.
They also shared that there are currently 250 million active Android Go users on a monthly basis. With Android 13 Go Edition, Google also wants to ensure that their users receive a good user experience and do not feel left behind compared to the regular Android 13.
