Nothing is more frustrating when important photos taken appear blurry in the gallery on the device. It's even more tragic if it's the only picture that was ever recorded and it's important for personal memory. For Google Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 users, they don't have to worry about this happening to photos taken on the device.
The Photo Unblur feature is introduced on both devices with the ability to sharpen blurry photos. Through artificial intelligence and the Tensor G2 processor, blurry photos can be sharpened using Google Photos. Another way is to combine wide-angle photos with photos taken using an ultra-wide-angle lens.
More interesting is that if the user has old pictures that are blurry or low resolution, Photo Unblur can be used to make them look sharper. Currently the Photo Unblur feature can only be used on the two latest Pixel devices only.
