Pico 4 Will Also Support Metamesta In The Future

Pico 4 has already been launched in Malaysia, becoming one of the first virtual reality headsets to officially arrive in the local market. Pico 4 comes with a compact, balanced design, 4K+ 90Hz lens, powered by a Snapdragon XR2 chip and is sold at a starting price of RM1,699.

Pico also said that they will come with Avatar support soon. This is similar to what Meta did with the Oculus Quest, where each user will have their own 3D character as a representative in the virtual reality world.

This is Pico's first step to join the Metamesta arena, as they say this avatar can be used to interact with other users no matter where they are. Not only that, Pico 4 will also support Mixed Reality, AR (augmented reality) to make the use of their headsets more immersive and durable for future use.

In our conversation with Pico Malaysia representatives, Pico 4 will support around 1-2 years of software updates, then they will work with YouTube, Disney+, Netflix, Just Dance to support more content on this virtual reality headset.
