Redmi K60 May Use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chip

The Redmi K50 series was launched earlier as a line of performance-focused devices. There are several variations of processing chips on offer including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the Redmi K50 Ultra and Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.

The latest is speculation that claims Xiaomi is still using the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip on the new updated model, the Redmi K60. This was shared by Digital Chat Station through the latest update on Weibo. In the meantime, the device is also rumored to be in the verification testing phase for the design, then manufacturing for it will follow after that.

Early expectations found that this device may be equipped with a 2K screen in addition to a 5500mAh battery capacity with a 67W wired charging system. Also included is the ability to charge wirelessly with an output power of 30W. Like previous models, the device is also expected to continue to focus on performance.
