The Redmi Note 12 series has finally been officially launched in China today. It comes in several different variants which include Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition. Each of them includes different elements that make each one have its own target.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition are the most premium models. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is then matched with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip with up to 12GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 256GB.
Also included is a 200MP + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) main camera and a 16MP selfie camera. The significant difference is in the battery capacity, where the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ uses a 5000mAh battery with a 120W fast charging system. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery with a 210W fast charging system.
The next model is the Redmi Note 12 Pro which is also equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip, memory up to 12GB RAM, internal storage up to 256GB and a 6.67-inch OLED screen. However, the refresh rate support only reaches 90Hz, then the main camera consists of 50MP + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro). A 16MP selfie camera and a 5000mAh battery that supports a 67W charging system are also used on the device.
The Redmi Note 12 5G uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip, in addition to a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Memory is up to 8GB RAM and internal storage up to 256GB. Also included is a 5000mAh battery with a 33W charging system, a 48MP + 2MP main camera (portrait) and an 8MP selfie camera.
