Setel has previously offered support for paying for curbside parking directly through the Setel mobile app. Initially, it was offered in Subang Jaya, Kuala Langat and Teluk Intan.
Through the new update, Setel added two more locations, namely Klang and Petaling Jaya. With this move, users can now pay directly for roadside parking managed by the municipal council of both locations.
For payments at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), it is charged 60 sen for 60 minutes, with a maximum rate of RM5 for every 11 hours. Parking charge times are Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6.30pm.
As for the Klang Municipal Council, it is charged 50 sen for 60 minutes, with a maximum charge of RM3.90 for every 9 hours. The operating hours are from Monday to Friday.
