Shopee Will Charge 1.5% Processing Charge For BNPL Services Starting October 17

 Shopee has now announced that they will be charging 1.5% of the total purchase value from 17 October 2022 for their Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service.

Previously, BNPL services under SPayLater were offered free of charge without processing fees for those who make payments in the following month. However, this will change from October 17, 2022, where all purchases under BNPL will be charged 1.5% on the total transaction value.

For SPayLater services that are split into installments, the 1.5% processing fee value is maintained as usual for each month.

With this charging increase, you may be able to rearrange your shopping methods on Shopee starting next week.
