Shopee is now issuing a warning to the public, saying it will end the feature of withdrawing money from ShopeePay directly to the user's bank account - from 14 October 2022.
For information, with this feature, it allows anyone who overcharged the ShopeePay digital wallet to withdraw the money easily directly to the bank account.
Through the FAQ shared by Shopee, the removal of this feature is said to be due to security reasons, and to reduce the risk of transferring money to an unauthorized account.
As an alternative for now, users may use the DuitNow Transfer feature on ShopeePay to manage any matter involving money transfers.
