The Sony FX30 video camera under the Cinema Line series was launched yesterday. Aimed at professional video producers, this camera comes with a 20.1MP APS-C EXMOR R sensor with an ISO range of 800 to 2500. It is capable of recording video at settings up to 4K 120p 10-bit 4:2:2 in H.265 or H.264 format. .
The body design is the same as the Sony FX3 but with a larger sensor. The camera comes with two memory slots for CFexpress Type A and DXC/SDHC cards. Because the FX30 is a videography camera, it also supports S-Cinetone cinematic mode. With the cooling system, unlimited continuous video recording is possible.
In the United States the Sony FX30 is sold at a price of $2200 (~RM10,201) with an XLR handle starting this October. The XLR-less version will be sold for $1800 (~RM8347).
