Soon, Virtual Ads Will Be Positioned In TV-Series And Movies On Streaming Services

Today, we see a number of personalized advertisements displayed through graphics, text, or even simple video ads. But, moving forward, with the popularity of TV-series and even movies, a new method of advertising will be tested.

Amazon and Peacock are ready to demonstrate a new advertising format, which allows advertisers to advertise on a TV series or a movie. In fact, Amazon seems to be planning this for the long term, given that their streaming service already comes with recognition support for every scene.

Back then, ads were displayed in virtual movie or TV-series sections, rather than as popups or the like. Instead, it uses post-production technology, and includes products virtually into a scene without interfering with the viewing experience or storyline.

For example, if an actor walks past a sign, then brands can position their brand on that part of the sign.

Likewise for products such as if there is a water bottle scene, then using this technology, the water bottle can be changed to the brand of the advertiser.

Through this step, a brand and even a promotion can be included without disturbing the user - and show it according to when someone is watching, and according to the taste of that audience.

Today, streaming services like Amazon and Peacock are already looking at the technology, and it's possible that it's also being tested by the likes of Netflix and Disney.
