The Huawei Mate50 series will hit the Malaysian market on November 3, 2022

 


The Mate 50 series is a new update from Huawei to its range of flagship devices. There is no more Leica branding this time, instead Huawei replaces it with the XMAGE camera system which is seen to be able to maintain their position as a manufacturer of devices with amazing camera capabilities.



Commenting further, Huawei has now confirmed that the device will be offered in Malaysia on November 3, 2022. Looking at the update on the official website, as many as two variants will be offered in the future which include Mate50 and Mate50 Pro. No information on availability and selling price is known so far but we will share more in future updates.



The Huawei Mate50 uses a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is then matched with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chip, 8GB RAM memory, 256GB internal storage and NM card support up to 256GB. The battery is 4,460mAh that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Next, a 50MP (OIS) + 13MP + 13MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera are also used on this device.



The Huawei Mate50 Pro is equipped with a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chip with 8GB RAM memory, 512GB internal storage and NM card support up to 256GB is also used. The battery capacity is 4,700mAh with a 66W wired and 55W wireless charging system. The main camera is 50MP (OIS) + 13MP + 64MP and a 13MP selfie camera.
