SKMM (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) has now issued a report for the quarter ending September 30, 2022, at the same time showing the development of the telecommunications arena in Malaysia.
Through it, SKMM shared that now the median speed rate enjoyed by users in Malaysia is 30.65Mbps.
In terms of the average speed rate is 52.48Mbps, but the median rate more reflects the actual distribution among public users than the average rate.
According to the latest data, the 4G network now covers 95.82% of populated areas in Malaysia. Figures for the third quarter of 2022 are expected to be shared in October 2022, expected to surpass those figures. According to the target for the end of 2022, the government aims for 4G to cover 96.9% of populated areas in Malaysia.
