Nothing's first product is a set of truly wireless earphones (TWS), the Nothing Ear (1). It is a mid-range TWS that offers an attractive design and features like a pair of premium audio accessories. In the beginning TWS wasn't that great, but after being updated with various software versions it started to get better.
Recently, Carl Pei announced that the price of Nothing Ear (1) will be increased due to the increasingly expensive production costs. The selling price of the Ear (1) will be $149 (~RM703), compared to the previous $99 (~RM467). The new price will start on October 26.
When Nothing Ear (1) was built, Nothing only had three engineers and now they have 185 engineers involved and since the launch of this TWS – Ear (1) has received 15 software updates making it a different TWS than before. With currency inflation, company growth – they had to increase sales prices.
Selling price of Nothing Ear In Malaysia, Nothing Ear (1) is sold at a price of RM499. If the Malaysian market price is affected, it will probably be sold at a price of around RM700.
