WhatsApp is now seen continuing to expand and add support for participants in certain WhatsApp Groups. After introducing support for up to 512 participants earlier, now through the new update, WhatsApp supports up to 1024 participants in a WhatsApp Groups.
With this step, larger WhatsApp Groups can be formed by users.
The addition of this feature is in line with several newly introduced functions on WhatsApp Groups, including video call support for up to 32 people simultaneously, in addition to WhatsApp Community integration.
This feature of supporting up to 1024 participants is being rolled out in stages – and appears to be active for those of us using WhatsApp Beta.
