A new share on the Wabetainfo site now informs that WhatsApp is testing some improvements to the feature of sending messages to yourself. So far, it has also started rolling out to some WhatsApp beta users on Android and iOS devices.
As the name suggests, this feature known as Messages With Yourself allows users to send any form of message to their own phone number. Through it it will display a chat room with the user's own phone number along with different captions.
Citing the shared screenshot, this feature will display the caption Me (You) and Message Yourself in the contact information section, meaning that all messages sent are to your own phone number. At the same time, the message will also be synced to all linked devices which means it can also be accessed through platforms such as WhatsApp Web.
This update can be considered interesting because it not only makes it easier for users to save messages and notes for temporary or future reference. In fact, it should also no longer bother any party or colleagues with the usual routine of a few users who like to "ride" temporary messages.
