Luxury is synonymous with the Rolls Royce brand. It is used by the nobility and rich people to show that they have more money to own a car that is more expensive than a two-story bungalow house. Yesterday the Rolls Royce Specter was shown and it was their first commercial electric car.
Before the Spectre, several concept vehicles were produced. But with electric cars now becoming a market trend, Specter is offered for users who still need the luxury of a Rolls Royce class but with modern electric technology that is more environmentally friendly.
The Specter is equipped with a 585 horsepower electric motor, and a range of up to 512 km on a single charge. The sale price and maximum speed have not been announced so far. Rolls Royce only says it is the first step to offer all their models with electric power by 2030.
The interior of the Specter is luxurious with owners being able to customize the leather seats and the use of crystal in the interior of the cockpit. Two LCD screens are placed in front to display driving information and control vehicle systems. Through the exclusive Whispers application, owners will receive recommendations of locations that can be visited. The vehicle can also be controlled using Eleanor's virtual assistant that accepts voice commands.
