Vertical video content is a format that is now becoming increasingly popular, which was started by TikTok. This vertical video format is also accessible on YouTube through Shorts.
On YouTube, Shorts has its own category where users can press the icon to only watch vertical videos. But if you want to watch through your favorite YouTube channel, Shorts and regular videos are displayed in the same section.
This makes the YouTube channel look grainy with vertical thumbnail images and titles with the hashtag #shorts. Now Shorts videos will no longer be displayed simultaneously in the regular video list on YouTube channels. But will have its own tabs such as Home, Videos, Playlists, Community, Channels and About tabs.
In addition to adding a tab for Shorts, YouTube also added a tab for Live to view live video content.
