YouTube Updated With New Interface – Also Includes Video Zoom Support

Google today announced an update to the YouTube service, bringing several changes to the interface design and use of the video platform.

The first change is in the display of the video player - where it includes dynamic coloring on the background for a better viewing experience. YouTube says this provides an experience similar to watching television at home that leads to light transmission in the living room environment.

In addition, YouTube will now display various links in the video description section in the form of buttons. Various button displays are also now positioned in a less distracting state than before.

And finally, one of the features that many like and look forward to is now introduced – the ability to zoom in on videos while watching. This feature will come to Android and iOS first soon.

These features will be rolled out gradually on YouTube in the coming weeks.
