Twitter Blue is one of the most interesting Twitter subscription services I've ever used. Although it is not official in Malaysia yet, I had the opportunity to use it. Among the interesting features are Edit Tweets, change navigation icons and themes, access to podcasts, and my favorite is reading ad-free articles.
Recently, according to 9to5Mac Twitter will stop supporting ad-free articles on Twitter Blue. This support is used by over 300 websites in the United States such as The Verge, Insider, Polygon, 9to5Google and many more.
Previously, Twitter would pay each website involved equal to the estimated ad profit from one reader. Now those involved receive a one-day notice of this feature being discontinued.
Among the reasons for this feature being discontinued according to Twitter is that they want to focus on other better features for Twitter Blue customers. Twitter also advises every website to remove Twitter Blue integration codes on their respective websites.
