Canalys has now released current data for market share in the smartphone arena. Taking the first place are Xiaomi and Samsung – each with a share of 25%.
Interesting through the data shared is also Apple, which is seen to show a growth of 70% from the previous year.
This also makes Apple the 5th brand with a high market share in Malaysia.
This increase in the third quarter of 2022 is seen in parallel with the supply of new iPhone 14 in Malaysia which is seen to be unable to meet the demand – especially the iPhone 14 Pro series, showing a delivery period beyond a month if purchasing today.
