Asus through a new update on the official Twitter announced the introduction of the Android 13 operating system for several of its latest smartphone series. This includes smartphones under the Zenfone and ROG Phone series.
This includes the Asus Zenfone 8 series which is scheduled to start in December 2022, then followed by the Zenfone 9 starting in January 2023. Meanwhile, ROG Phone 6D/6D Ultimate and ROG Phone 6/6 Pro around the first quarter of 2023. Next the ROG Phone 5 series /5s will receive it around the second quarter of 2023.
The specific timeframe for the update rollout may vary by country. With the offering of Android 13, various updates are included on the device such as the ability to customize the interface and display, more extensive widget support, improved security and others.
