Devialet Mania is a new portable speaker with a unique design. Why? This is due to its design themed items from the world of science fiction with several color options such as Black, Gray and Opera.
For those interested, it is offered in Malaysia at a retail price starting at RM4,490 for the variant without charging dock support. Later it increased to RM5,490 for the Opera color variant which comes with a charging dock. In addition, the charging dock can also be purchased separately at RM449. This portable speaker is equipped with four audio drivers and two subwoofers with 360-degree audio capabilities. It is said to be able to change the audio profile based on the position of the speaker itself. For example, if placed close to the wall two rear drivers can amplify two more audio drivers in front at the same time allowing better audio to be produced.
Also included is the Speaker Active Matching (SAM) system that can adapt the audio signal for a better experience. Meanwhile, the Cross Stereo Architecture system can ensure that stereo audio can always be achieved regardless of where the speaker is placed.
This speaker also features WiFi and Bluetooth support that can be used via Spotify Connect. IPX4 waterproof protection and USB-C port support can also be found on it. It's just that there is no support for Alexa provided for the variant in the Malaysian market.
