Disney+ Now Has 164.2 Million Subscribers

Disney's latest financial report has been announced and currently Disney+ has 164.2 million paying subscribers globally. This puts them behind Netflix which has 223 million subscribers. If all streaming services ESPN+ and Hulu are taken into account, Disney has 235.7 million subscribers.

With the number of subscribers increasing, Disney launched an ad-supported subscription service yesterday that provides competition to a similar service from Netflix. Disney+ has an advantage because the subscription fee for their service is lower and the catalog of content offered is also larger.
