Elon Says Twitter May Go Bankrupt And Some Key Executives Are Resigning

The Elon Musk era began with thousands of staff being laid off as a cost-cutting measure. Then Musk launched a new Twitter Blue subscription with blue verification which now causes hundreds of fake accounts to appear making it difficult to distinguish official accounts from real ones. In short, the era of Musk caused the previously calm site to be in turmoil.

Recently in a meeting with staff, Musk did not rule out the possibility that the company may go bankrupt and staff will have to face various challenges in the near future. Musk's own actions have caused advertising to be pulled by several major brands.

This didn't help Twitter which was losing $4 million a day. A negative cash flow reaching billions of dollars is expected to occur at Twitter. At the same time Elon is now requiring staff to return to work in the office. Those who fail to do so are encouraged to resign.

In other developments, several of Twitter's top executives in security, privacy and compliance have all resigned.
