Evernote, one of the once popular note-taking applications, seems to be less and less used by the day. Most recently, today Evernote announced they have entered into an agreement to be acquired by Bending Spoons.
The full transfer and takeover transaction is expected to be completed in 2023. The value of the transaction involved in this takeover is not yet known.
For information, Bending Spoons has several applications with high user figures, including Remini and Splice.
With this takeover, Evernote is expected to continue to focus on note-taking support, in addition to productivity and collaboration.
Evernote also emphasized that they will remain focused on ensuring data remains safe and continue to focus on developing their brand.
