Facebook is a social media platform that was originally meant to connect friends and relatives. It is now also used to maintain relationships with colleagues. Many may realize that content shared with relatives may not want to be shared with colleagues. The process of setting who can see existing statuses is not sufficient to prevent certain content from being viewed.
Therefore "Professional Mode" was launched this morning to all Facebook users to further simplify account management. This feature has been tested since last July originally with a choice of five different profiles for each user.
Through professional mode, account owners now have one personal profile and one profile for work. For social media influencers or celebrities, they no longer need to open a new profile specifically for fans. Existing profiles can be changed to professional mode.
Professional profiles can be used to earn through Stars, Facebook Reels ads, in-stream ads and Reels Play. Users can also see their own analytics summary for job profiles to facilitate planning to produce more responsive content.
