Apple has yet to market a foldable screen iPhone with some predictions saying the first device in this category by them will be an iPad. In China, the YouTube channel ç§‘æŠ€ç¾Žå¦ didn't want to wait any longer and produced a foldable iPhone by itself.
The process of developing this iPhone took 200 days and sacrificed 37 different screens to find the most suitable components. The body part of a Motorola Razr is used instead of the non-foldable iPhone frame. Although this prototype was successfully produced it did not last long. The screen starts to crack and break after a few days of use.
It is clear that producing a foldable phone is not an easy task. So it is not surprising that Apple is waiting for the right time and waiting for the technology to become more mature before producing a competitor to the Z Flip and Razr.
