Google One is Google's cloud storage subscription service that provides additional storage on Google Drive, access to better editing features through Google Photos, various rewards and for selected countries access to a VPN to protect user data while online.
VPN on Google One can only be accessed if customers subscribe to a 2TB storage quota or use a Pixel 7 device. Currently, access to this VPN is limited to Android and iOS devices only. Now Google wants to further expand this offering through use on Windows and Mac as well.
This VPN on Google One offers traffic encryption and has a system that checks user activity so that it is balanced and no hackers or websites are trying to steal data without permission. Customers can also share accounts with up to five people with one subscription.
But just like before, this VPN access is limited in selected countries only. For now there are only 22 countries;
