Huawei Mate Xs 2 Will Also Support Emergency Communication Using Satellite

 

So far only the Huawei Mate 50 and iPhone 14 series have the ability to perform emergency communications using satellites. Cir is still limited to certain markets only because of the relatively high cost. Huawei will further develop this feature on the Mate Xs 2 after sharing a teaser video about it on Weibo.

As with the Mate 50 series, the Mate Xs 2 launched earlier this year will also be able to send emergency messages using satellites. For now it is limited to users in China only through the Beidou satellite network with Huawei introducing an emergency phone call feature in the future. More information about the satellite communication feature will be shared on November 5 at the Huawei Developer Conference event.
