Huawei's flagship smartphone range has been updated with new offerings via the Mate50 series. One of the models introduced through it is the Mate50 Pro and the use of the XMAGE system is seen to have yielded good results when the device has now successfully grabbed the first place on the DXOMARK list.
The new update shows the Mate50 Pro scoring the highest overall score of 149 for its main camera capabilities. This at once beats several previous devices such as Google Pixel 7 and Honor Magic4 Ultimate. For the test summary, it got 152 points for photography ability, 80 points for bokeh ability, 148 points for zoom ability and 141 points for video recording.
Praise goes to the camera's ability to produce high-quality images in most situations, including low lighting. Next, the adjustable aperture system also works quite well, especially for group portrait shots and low-light images.
As well as the ability of the ultra-wide camera which is said to provide great image quality, in addition to the zoom capability is also vaik with a high level of detail for all distances. The video recording results are also of high quality, whether used in closed or open areas.
Criticism was given on the time delay problem found for the process of pressing the shutter button. This at the same time results in difficulty for users to take certain moments. Next, the final image capture is completely different from what is previewed on the camera interface. Finally, the lack of 5G connectivity on the device.
The Huawei Mate50 series will be launched in Malaysia on November 3. The full offer including availability and sale price will be shared in future article updates.
