Smart watches often come with a detachable strap feature to match the wearer's style. But the Huawei Watch GT Cyber that was launched just now is unique because it comes with a mechanism that can be removed directly from the body together with the watch strap.
This is a similar design to the Casio G-Shock GA-B001 which also has the same design. The difference is that the Watch GT Cyber is a smart watch with a choice of Sports, Fashion and Urban Explorer bezels. All of them are durable so that they can be taken diving up to a pressure of 5 ATM.
The 1.32 AMOLED screen supports touch and it is paired with a 292 mAh battery. It can do heart rate tracking, GPS system, sleep tracking, sports activity tracking and make phone calls when needed. The HarmonyOS operating system is used but the device can be tethered to HarmonyOS, Android and iOS smartphones.
The selling price is RMB 1288 (~RM838) for the Sports version, RMB 1488 (~RM969) for the Fashion and Urban Explorer versions. Meanwhile, the strap/watch body can be purchased separately at RMB199 (~RM130) for Sports and RMB399 (~RM260) for Fashion and Urban Explorer.
