Implementation of DNB Saves Malaysia's Telecommunications Industry Approximately RM30 Billion

The Finance Minister (Temporary) now shared that the implementation of a single wholesale network model for 5G through Digital Nasional Berhad will enable the Malaysian telecommunications industry to save infrastructure construction costs of approximately RM30 billion over the next 10 years.

With this move too, it will allow telecommunication companies to focus on service offerings – while DNB will develop the infrastructure for the 5G network.

For now, as many as five telecommunications companies have signed access agreements with DNB, and only Maxis remains who has not yet made a final decision.
