Kanye West is a famous rapper, fashion designer, and music producer. Many feel that he is one of the best rappers in the world, but lately he has been embroiled in a scandal for making anti-Semitic statements that caused his contracts with Balenciaga and Adidas to be terminated.
Because of this, his status as a billionaire was also erased in an instant. The website All Hip Hop reports that West has launched a campaign through the crowdfunding site GoFundMe to raise funds to restore his billionaire status.
The campaign aims to raise $1 billion (~RM 4.8 billion) from the public. But unfortunately for West, it only managed to collect $5 (~RM24) before it was deleted by the GoFundMe for violating the site's terms and conditions. Although no longer a billionaire, West agreed to buy the far-right social media platform Parler a few weeks ago. It is unknown if this wish will continue as it was done before his contracts with Balenciaga and Adidas were cancelled.
