Malaysian Users Enjoy 5G Speeds 16.8x Faster Than 4G


 OpenSignal has now released their latest report, comparing 5G and 4G network usage in Malaysia.


Through average downloads, it is seen that local users enjoy speeds up to 16.8 times faster on the 5G network, when compared to 4G.



This is shown through the average download speed on the 5G network reaching 284.9Mbps, compared to only 16.9Mbps on the 4G network.


As for the upload rate, the 5G network offers a speed 6 times faster than the 4G network.



With increased speed, it also simultaneously offers users a better video gaming and video watching experience.


For now, the introduction of 5G networks is still at an early stage, and we will be able to see the full experience of using it in the coming months as more people start using it.
