Many iPhone 13 Pro Users In Malaysia Report Broken Screen Problems After iOS 16.1 Update

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are Apple's premium flagship devices launched last year. The device is still one of the best on the market, even I still use it as a daily device.

But bad luck befell many iPhone 13 Pro users in Malaysia after updating to iOS 16.1. In my own monitoring on Facebook Group Apple User Group Malaysia and Malaysia iPhone User, the majority of users with problems are those using the iPhone 13 Pro Max – where the device's screen keeps getting damaged after updating.

Among the problems encountered are the screen turning white suddenly, the screen not responding and changing color after using social media applications and some also reported the screen turning green. Each of these problems cannot be fixed by yourself such as rebooting the device or formatting because it is not a software problem, but rather a problem with the screen itself.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max that is still under warranty can claim to have the screen replaced at no cost, but those who have run out of warranty have to pay from RM1,500 to RM1,800 and can reach up to RM2,000 if they have it repaired at an unofficial shop.

In more and more iPhone 13 devices that are in the our lab, none of them have this problem even though they have been updated to iOS 16.1.1. How about your device?
