Meta Makes It Easy for You to See Politically Related Advertising Spending

 


Perhaps many people don't know, Meta provides a page dedicated to making it easier for people to check their advertising-related expenses on their platforms – including Facebook and Instagram.


Through the Meta Ad Library Report, it provides a display according to a Facebook Page regarding how much was spent in the past yesterday, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, the last 90 days and also since last August 2020.



In addition to that data, it also displays political-related advertising spending by spending rate – and users can click and see what ads are being run, including how much a Facebook Page is spending on campaigning and conveying their respective political wishes.


According to Meta's sharing, since last August 2020, a total of more than RM10 million has been spent on the platform in advertising related to politics, elections and also social issues.
