More Privacy – MYNIC Now Hides Display of Personal Information on Domain Name WHOIS

MYNIC now brings more privacy to buyers of domains with the .MY suffix. Starting this week, MYNIC has removed the display of an owner's full information to the public on the WHOIS part of a domain name.

Previously, MYNIC often displayed full information about a buyer, including name, address, phone number and email.

Through the new changes, MYNIC simply displays the registration date, registrar, and also the server used.

With this step, a buyer of the domain has more protection of his personal data than before.
