Outlook Email Attachments Will Be Included in Microsoft 365 Storage Size Limits Starting Next Year

One of the advantages of subscribing to the Microsoft 365 cloud productivity service is having unlimited email size, regardless of the number of emails or the size of attachments loaded on the service.

Unfortunately this favor will be withdrawn by Microsoft, where they have just announced that starting February 2, 2023, all email attachment files will count against the Microsoft 365 subscription storage size limit.

This means that depending on how many emails you store through Outlook.com, your subscribed storage size may not be sufficient to accommodate all of those attachments.

However, Microsoft said that they will provide 50GB of free storage for a year from that date to facilitate the process of updating their Outlook.com email accounts.

Speaking of email, Outlook.com users will also no longer be able to use custom email addresses through the platform starting November 30. This will only affect users who have newly linked the custom email experience after this date, and will not affect users who were already using the feature before this date.

However, if the address is unlinked, it cannot be linked back.
