Porsche Design Launches Speaker Using 911 Car Exhaust

 


Porsche Design is involved in producing smartphones, audio equipment, glasses and watches. Their products are sold at market prices targeting high income groups. Recently they have also launched the 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro which is a speaker produced using car exhaust.



The Porsche 911 car exhaust is modified into a 2.1.2 Virtual Surround Sound speaker with a power output of 300 watts and Dolby Atmos DTS-HD. In addition to HDMI connection, the speaker also supports the Air Play 2 ecosystem and Google Chromecast to send audio from smart devices.


Only 500 units of the Porsche Design 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro will be produced each selling for $12,000 (~RM57,000).
