Proton today shared plans to introduce their electric cars on the market by 2027 – which is around five years away.
For information, previously Proton was ready to show several prototype, concept and development cars in the electric vehicle arena. And many local consumers are ready to look forward to the offer of electric cars from Proton in Malaysia.
In addition to planning the introduction of electric cars, Proton will also market electric vehicles through its subsidiary PRONET starting next year - through the first vehicle under its distribution, which is SMART #1.
With the start of commercial involvement starting next year, we may see Proton provide various infrastructure related to electric vehicle charging – before launching its own electric vehicle in another five years.
