Shazam For Android Now Offers A Widget That Can Directly Identify Songs

Shazam is a music recognition application under Apple that is offered not only for iOS but also for Android users. The identified music can then be directly accessed via Spotify or Apple Music.

In a new update for Android users, Shazam introduces a new widget that can directly identify songs played from the device's home screen. The previous widget was to open the application when pressed.

This Tap to Shazam widget will listen to the song that is playing around the user whether through the radio in the car, music in the restaurant or anywhere and will give details of the title, artist name and album after success directly on the widget. Notifications will also be given to users who shared the song identified earlier.

The size of the widget offered is as large as 5 x 1 or as small as 1 x 1 for Android 12 devices. This widget also supports the Dynamic Color feature that changes color according to the background image or color theme set by the user.

Those interested can download or update Shazam to version 13.7 via the Google Play Store.
